BUCKET TEETH - REPLACE TIP
WARNING
Block the bucket before changing the
bucket teeth.
WARNING
To prevent possible injury to the eyes,
wear a protective face shield when striking
the pin.
WARNING
The pin, when struck, can fly out and
cause injury to nearby personnel.
3. Install a new tip over the retainer in
either the runner or the digger position.
1. Drive the pin out of the tip from the
retainer side of the tip. Remove the tip and
the retainer.
4. Drive the pin through the tip, adapter,
and the retainer from the opposite side of
the retainer.
2. Clean the adapter, the pin and the
retainer. Install the retainer in the groove in
the side of the adapter.
