Fill the system with acleaning solution.Any commercial cooling system cleaner canbe used, or mix 1 kg Sodium Bisulfate(NaHSO4) per 40 liters of water (2 lb per 10gal).7. Start and run the engine for 1/2 hour.Stop the engine andsolution.8. Flush the systemthe draining water isthe engine while flushing.drain the cleaningwith clean water untilclean. Do not run4. Remove the drain plug from theengine block. Drain the coolant.9. Close the drain valve. Fill the systemwith a neutralizing solution. Anycommercial cooling system neutralizer canbe used, or mix 250 g of SodiumCarbonate Crystals (Na2CO3•10H2O) per 40liters of water (1/2 lb per 10 gal).10. Start and run the engine for 10minutes. Stop the engine and drain theneutralizing solution.5. Remove the drain plug from thetorque converter oil cooler. Drain thecoolant.1-25
