FAN AND ALTERNATOR BELTS
1. Inspect the condition and the
adjustment. The belts should deflect 14 to
20 mm (9/16 to 13/16 inch) under 11.5
kg (25 lb) force.
3. Turn the adjusting nut until the correct
belt tension is reached. Tighten the
adjusting locknut to 150 ± 20 Nm (110
± 15 lb ft).
2. Loosen the alternator mounting bolts.
Loosen the adjusting locknut.
4. Tighten the alternator mounting bolts.
