They should not be re-moved at every filter change. Remove thecollars only at 2000 Service Hours or 1Year, when the hydraulic oil is changed. Atthat time, inspect the seals and replace them,if they are damaged.3. Loosen the filter housing coverretaining bolt.When changing the hydraulic system filtersat the “2000 Service Hours or 1 Year”interval, remove the retaining collars fromthe hydraulic tank. Inspect the seals.Replace the seals, if they are damaged.Install the collars and complete the filterchange.1-58
