1. Move the hydraulic controls to help
relieve the pressure.
4. Remove the cover.
2. Remove the hydraulic tank cap slowly
to relieve the pressure.
CAUTION
The retaining collars on the hydraulic tank at
the filter covers serve as guards against con-
taminating the hydraulic oil with dirt or debris
when changing filters. They should not be re-
moved at every filter change. Remove the
collars only at 2000 Service Hours or 1
Year, when the hydraulic oil is changed. At
that time, inspect the seals and replace them,
if they are damaged.
3. Loosen the filter housing cover
retaining bolt.
When changing the hydraulic system filters
at the 2000 Service Hours or 1 Year
interval, remove the retaining collars from
the hydraulic tank. Inspect the seals.
Replace the seals, if they are damaged.
Install the collars and complete the filter
change.
