The machine should not move.PARKING BRAKE - TESTINGWARNINGBe sure the area around machine is clearof personnel and obstructions.WARNINGBe sure the antipivot link is in storedposition.WARNINGTest the brakes on a dry, level surface.WARNINGFasten the seat belt before testing thebrakes.WARNINGIf the machine begins to move, reduce theengine speed immediately and apply theparking brake.1. Start the engine and raise the bucketslightly.4. Reduce the engine speed to low idle,shift the transmission to NEUTRAL. Applythe parking brake, lower the bucket tothe ground and stop the engine.CAUTIONIf the machine moved while testing the brakes,repair the service brakes before returning themachine to operation.2. With the parking brake applied shiftthe transmission to 1st speed forward.1-50
