2. Open the radiator drain valve and
drain all the coolant from the engine and
the radiator.
6. Add the coolant slowly, 20 liters (5
U.S. gallons) per minute or less, to the
proper level.
3. Remove all drain plugs to speed draining
of the coolant. See the topic Cooling
System - Cleaning under When
Required.
4. Close the drain valve and install all drain
plugs.
7. Add 2 liters (2 quarts) of cooling
system conditioner, to provide a 3%
concentration of conditioner in the
system.
8. With the radiator cap removed, start
the engine. Allow the coolant to warm and
the coolant level to stabilize.
5. Mix the coolant solution, (See Refill
Capacities) to provide protection to the
lowest expected ambient temperature.
