When machine is to be lifted, tran-sported on another vehicle or service workbeing performed near center of machine, con-nect anti-pivot link between front and rearframes to keep machine in straight ahead posi-tion. Before operation and when operating, besure anti-pivot link, located near lower centerof machine, is disconnected and pinned to re-taining plates.1. Lift the rear of the machine so the tires are offthe ground and install tooling (A) under therear frame.2. Put wood blocks (1) between the rear axlehousing and frame on each side of the machineto hold the axle housing in position when thetires and rims are removed.3. For the removal of the front tires and rims putwood blocks behind the rear tires. Lift the frontof the machine so the tires are off the groundand install tooling (B) under the loader frameas shown.4. Fasten a hoist to tire and rim (2). Remove thenuts and washers that hold the tire and rim tothe wheel assembly. Remove tire and rim (2)from the machine. The weight of each tire andrim is 544 kg (1200 lb.).5-164
