I flettering can be touched up in less time than it takes to remove/replacethe decal, do so. Refer to step (3) below for touch-up procedure.If decals on fan shroud are to be replaced, remove engine side panels(page 9-14);if hydraulic reservoir decal is to be replaced, unlock andopen front access door.(1) To remove decal (1 through 4), try to get a razor blade under one cornerof decal. Then pull decal off its mounting surface. If necessary, care -fully scrape decal from its mounting surface using razor blade.Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.W e a r p r o t e c t i v e g o g g l e s a n d g l o v e s a n d u s e o n l y i n a w e l l v e n t i l a t eda r e a . I f c o n t a c t w i t h s k i n o r c l o t h e s i s m a d e , f l u shw i t h l a r g e a m o u n t s o f w a t e r.If contact with eyes is made, wash eyeswith water and get medical aid immediately.(2)Clean mounting surface using clean cloth moistened with cleaning solventP-D-680 to remove all traces of decal, grease, or dirt.(3) If decal lettering can be touched-up, clean using clean cloth moistenedwith detergent. Be sure all grease and dirt is removed. Touch-up letter-ing using marking ink and a number 1 or 2 artist’s brush. Be careful nott o s m e a r i n k b e f o r e i t h a s d r i e d .
