Check drive shafts and support bearing for insufficient lubrication,wear, or damage (indicated by excessive movement between universaljoint and drive shaft in any one direction).a .b .c .I f d r i v e s h a f t s o r s u p p o r t b e a r i n g i n s u f f i c i e n t l y l u b r i c a t e d,lubricate (refer to LO 5-3805-262-12).If drive shafts or support bearing is worn, bent, or damaged,replace (page 6-34, 6-41, or 6-45).If drive shaft is lubricated and not worn, bent, or damaged, goto step 2 below.Step 2.Check splines on shafts and yokes for wear or damage.a.
