If multimeter does indicate 24 volts and AUXILIARY STEERINGbuzzer and indicator are not on, check wiring between relaysocket assembly and buzzer and indicator for open circuit.Repair or replace wires as necessary (page 5-84).c. If multimeter does indicate 24 volts and AUXILIARY STEERINGbuzzer and indicator are on, check for 24 volts between chassisframe and auxiliary steering motor solenoid terminal. If multi-meter indicates 24 volts, notify next higher maintenance levelto replace and repair auxiliary steering motor and pump. Ifmultimeter does not indicate 24 volts, check wiring betweenrelay socket assembly and auxiliary steering motor and pump foropen circuit. Repair or replace wires as necessary (page 5-84).Step 12.
