3. ENGINE HARD TO START OR WILL NOT START (EXHAUST SMOKE) (Cont).
Step 2. Remove engine right
side panels (page 9-14).
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.

a r e a . A v o i d c o n t a c t w i t h s k i n , e y e s a n d c l o t h e s a n d d o n t b r e a t he
vapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat and dont smoke
when using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you be-
c o m e d i z z y w h i l e u s i n g c l e a n i n g s o l v e n t , g e t f r e s h a i r a n d m e d i c a l
a t t e n t i o n i m m e d i a t e l y . I f c o n t a c t w i t h s k i n o r c l o t h e s i s m a d e , f l u sh
with large amounts of water.

with water and get medical aid immediately.

Remove plug from elbow in-
s t a l l e d i n f u e l i n j e c t i on
pump.
Connect a zero to 50 psi pres-
sure gage to elbow port from
which plug was removed (port
is 1/8 NPTF).
Tell assistant to crank engine
for 30 seconds while you watch
pressure gage.
Pressure gage should indicate
20 to 30 psi.
a . I f p r e s s u r e g a g e i n d i c a t e s
20 to 30 psi, disconnect
zero to 50 psi pressure
gage from elbow port.
Reinstall plug in elbow
p o r t .
Go to step 3 below.
