b. If pressure gage does not indicate 20 to 30 psi, disconnect zero
to 50 psi pressure gage from elbow port.
Reinstall plug in elbow port.
Go to page 3-41, fuel system troubleshooting, MALFUNCTION 1.
Step 3.
Check if there is wrong or contaminated fuel in fuel tank (contami-
nated fuel will have a milky white appearance).
a. If wrong or contaminated fuel in fuel tank, drain and clean fuel
t a n k ( p a g e 4 - 3 2 ) , r e p l a c e f u e l f i l t e r s ( p a g e 4 - 3 8 ) , a n d r e f i ll
w i t h c o r r e c t f u e l.
b. If fuel is okay, go to step 4 below.

Open bleed valve on first stage

Close bleed valve when clear

Close bleed valve when clear
bubble free fuel appears. Tell

switch to off position.
Use clean cloth and wipe up any
D i e s e l f u e l s p i l l a g e.
If no air in fuel system, go to step 5 below.
