b.Wipe area clean around dipstick and
filler tube with a rag (Item 13, WP
0031 00).
WARN I N G
Filler tube is under pressure. Open tube slowly. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
c. Turn T-handle counterclockwise (to
the left) to remove dipstick from
filler tube.
d.Wipe dipstick clean, then reinsert
into filler tube until fully seated.
Remove dipstick and take reading.
e. Maintain  level  between  cross-
hatched area on FULL-WARM OIL-
NEUTRAL AT LI side of dipstick.
f. If level is low, add lubricating oil
(Item 9, 10, 11, or 12, WP 0031 00)
through filler tube opening until
level is correct. Refer to KEY at end
of this work package for correct
grade of oil for expected tempera-
ture range.
g.Reinstall dipstick.
