4.
Install engine oil cooler housing (8) and new gasket (10) on cylinder block (11).
5.
Install 14 bolts (9) in sequence shown and tighten to 16 lb-ft (22 Nm).
6.
Position hose assemblies (2 and 3) on engine oil cooler housing (8) and install four flange halves (7) and nuts (6) on
engine oil cooler housing (8). Tighten nuts to 16 lb-ft (22 Nm).

7.
Install two new gaskets (4) and connect two hose assemblies (3 and 2) to adapter housing (5).
8.
Install four bolts (1) on hose assemblies (3 and 2) and tighten to 16 lb-ft (22 Nm).

9.
Fill cooling system (WP 0042 00).
10.
Fill engine with oil (WP 0025 00).
11.
Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached (TM 5-3805-290-10).
12.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-290-10).
13.
Check for engine oil and cooling system leaks.
