BUCKET WEAR PLATES REMOVAL

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during pro-
cedure. Ensure any lifting equipment used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting equipment. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or
death to personnel.
N OT E
If necessary, raise and block bucket only high enough to remove nuts and wear plates. Open bucket slightly to
remove pressure on two outside wear plates.
Perform the following steps for each of four wear plates.
1.
Insert wood block between dozer and clam.
2.
Remove four nuts (10), bolts (11), and wear plate (12)
from bucket (3).

Perform the following steps for each of four wear plates.
1.
Install wear plate (12) on bucket (3) with four bolts (11) and nuts (10).
2.
Remove wood block.
