FUEL TANK REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

DRAINING
1.
Loosen two bolts (1) and slide cover (2) over.
2.
Remove drain plug (3) from fuel tank. Allow fuel to drain completely into a 60 gal. (227 L) container.

3.
Install drain plug (3) in bottom of fuel tank.
4.
Slide cover (2) back over and tighten two bolts (1).
REMOVAL
C AU T I O N
Wipe area clean around all connections to be opened during removal. Cap lines and hoses and plug open-
ings after removing lines. Contamination of system could result in premature failure.
N OT E
Tag hoses to ensure correct installation.
Use a container to catch any fuel that may drain from hoses or system. Dispose of fuel IAW local policy
and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
1.
Remove two bolts (5) from fuel tank straps (6).
2.
Slide fuel tank straps (6) off fuel tank (4).
