6.
Lubricate three new O-rings (6) with a thin coat of
clean oil and install in hose assemblies (4).
7.
Connect three hose assemblies (4) to fan motor (5).

8.
Position fan guard (3) and install 20 washers (2) and
fan guard bolts (1) on fan guard.

9.
Check hydraulic fluid level (TM 5-3805-290-10).
WAR N I N G
After replacing hydraulic component, make sure all personnel stand clear of machine during start up.
If hydraulic fluid escapes under pressure, it can penetrate the skin causing injury to personnel.
10.
Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached (TM 5-3805-290-10).
11.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-290-10).
12.
Check for hydraulic leaks.
