N OT E
Follow troubleshooting procedures in this manual to ensure that replacing the ECM will correct the
problem.
Ensure that all diagnostic codes are noted before removing ECM.
1.
Carefully pry messenger (1) from console (2).
2.
Disconnect messenger (1) from wiring harness (3).
