Use a container to catch any fluid that may drain from system. Dispose of fluid IAW local policy and ordi-
nances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
1.
Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached (TM 5-3805-291-10).
2.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-291-10).
3.
Remove transmission oil drain plug (1) from bottom
of transfer case (2).
4.
Remove and discard O-ring from transmission oil
drain plug (1).
5.
Install pipe nipple.
6.
Drain transmission fluid. Remove pipe nipple.
7.
Replace transmission oil filter (WP 0105 00).
