MALFUNCTION
Parking brake alert indicator does not come on when parking brake is engaged.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Step 1.
Stop machine and shut down engine immediately (WP 0005).
Step 2.
Notify Field Maintenance.
MALFUNCTION
Parking/emergency brake will not engage.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Step 1.
Stop machine and shut down engine immediately (WP 0005).
Step 2.
Notify Field Maintenance.
MALFUNCTION
Parking brake will not disengage.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Step 1.
Check if seat belt lamp is flashing.
a.
If seat belt lamp is flashing, unbuckle seat belt and then buckle seat belt.
b.
If problem persists, notify Field Maintenance.
Step 2.
Check if hydraulic charge pressure warning lamp is on and alarm is sounding.
a.
If warning lamp is on and alarm is sounding, shut down engine immediately.
b.
Proceed to step 3.
Step 3.
Check transmission fluid level (WP 0020).
a.
If level is low, fill transmission.
b.
If problem still exists after filling transmission, notify Field Maintenance.
