ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CONTINUED
MALFUNCTION
One or more front work lights or cab side lights will not light or are dim or flickering.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Step 1.
Check light assembly for damage.
a.
If light assembly is damaged, notify Field Maintenance.
b.
If light assembly is not damaged and problem still exists, proceed to step 2.
Step 2.
Check for blown lighting fuse at fuse panel (WP 0022).
a.
If fuse is bad, request a replacement fuse from Field Maintenance.
b.
If fuse is good, proceed to step 3.
Step 3.
Check light relays 1 and 2 (WP 0022).
a.
Swap suspect relay with known working relay to determine if suspect relay is functional.
b.
If relay is bad, request a replacement relay from Field Maintenance.
c.
If relays are OK, notify Field Maintenance.
MALFUNCTION
Horn will not sound when button is pressed.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Step 1.
Check horn for disconnected connector or damage.
a.
Reconnect connector if disconnected.
b.
If any damage to horn is found, notify Field Maintenance.
c.
If connector and horn are OK and problem still exists, proceed to step 2.
Step 2.
Check for blown horn fuse at fuse panel (WP 0022).
a.
If fuse is bad, request a replacement fuse from Field Maintenance.
b.
If fuse is good and problem still exists, notify Field Maintenance.
