Lubricate oil filter seal with a light coat of clean engine oil.
1. Fill new engine oil filter (Figure 5, Item 2) with clean engine oil.
2. Turn new engine oil filter (Figure 5, Item 2) clockwise to install on engine oil filter base (Figure 5, Item 1).
3. Tighten new engine oil filter (Figure 5, Item 2) until seal contacts base, then tighten an additional 3/4 to 1 full
turn.

4. Install right side access cover (Figure 6, Item 2) on machine and tighten two thumb screws (Figure 6, Item 1).
