5. Install radiator cap (Figure 1, Item 1) on radiator.
6. Fill coolant recovery bottle (Figure 1, Item 2) to ADD mark.
7. Start engine and allow to reach operating temperature, stop engine, and allow to cool (TM 5-3805-292-10).
8. Check coolant level at coolant recovery bottle (Figure 1, Item 2) only. Add coolant to coolant recovery bottle as
necessary.
N OT E
Coolant level must be between ADD and FULL marks on coolant recovery bottle.
9. Check cooling system for leaks.
