1. Remove eight screws (Figure 1, Item 1) and two end cap covers (Figure 1, Item 3) from case (Figure 1, Item 2).

Make sure A/C system is evacuated completely before loosening A/C hose connectors.
Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
N OT E
Tag and mark all hoses and lines to aid installation.
Cap all ports and open hoses immediately upon disconnection to prevent dirt from
entering system.
2. Disconnect two A/C hoses (Figure 2, Item 1) from case (Figure 2, Item 2).
