Note positive and negative connecting points. Tag cables prior to removal to ensure
correct installation.
1. Remove three nuts (Figure 1, Item 7), lockwashers (Figure 1, Item 4), washers (Figure 1, Item 5), and cables
(Figure 1, Item 6) from power equalizer (Figure 1, Item 8). Discard lockwashers.
2. Remove four locknuts (Figure 1, Item 1), bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), washers (Figure 1, Item 3), and power equal-
izer (Figure 1, Item 8) from battery compartment. Discard locknuts.

1. Install power equalizer (Figure 1, Item 8), four washers (Figure 1, Item 3), bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), and new
locknuts (Figure 1, Item 3) in battery compartment.
2. Connect three cables (Figure 1, Item 6) and install washers (Figure 1, Item 3), new lockwashers (Figure 1, Item
4) and nuts (Figure 1, Item 7) on power equalizer (Figure 1, Item 8).
