14. With assistance, observe if any

Is Expelled From Glow Plug Ports -

Remove two bolts (Figure 12, Item 2)
and engine turning tool (Figure 12,
Item 3) from damper assembly
(Figure 12, Item 1).
Install two bolts (Figure 9, Item 2) on
damper assembly (Figure 9, Item 1).
Proceed to step 15.
Engine Difficult to Rotate or Does
Not Rotate - Remove two bolts
(Figure 12, Item 2) and engine turning
tool (Figure 12, Item 3) from damper
assembly (Figure 12, Item 1).
Replace engine assembly (WP 0178).
Proceed to Test Step 10.
15. Remove cylinder head from engine
(WP 0180).
16. Inspect cylinder head and mating
Mating Surface of Engine Block
surface on engine block for signs
Cracked or Damaged - Replace
of combustion gas or Class III
engine assembly (WP 0178).
coolant leak, cracks, and flatness,
Proceed to Test Step 10.

Cylinder Head Gasket and Cylinder

Proceed to Test Step 10.
Cylinder Head Gasket Leaking,
Damaged, or Is Not Flat - Replace
cylinder head and gasket (WP 0180).
Proceed to Test Step 10.
Cylinder Head or Gasket Cracked,
Leaking, Warped, or Damaged -
Replace cylinder head and gasket
(WP 0180).
Proceed to Test Step 10.
