Test Step 1. Check for Active Event

Test Step 2. Inspect for

1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position (TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Position drain pan under machine.
3. Visually inspect primary fuel filter
No Contamination in Fuel/Water
fuel/water separator bowl
Separator Bowl - Proceed to step 4.
(Figure 1, Item 1) for particulate
Water Contamination in Fuel/Water
and water contamination.
Separator Bowl - Proceed to step 4.
Particulate Contamination in Fuel/
Water Separator Bowl - Drain fuel
(WP 0216), replace primary fuel filter
(WP 0219), secondary fuel filter
(WP 0220), and third fuel filter
(WP 0222).
Proceed to Test Step 8.
