9. Select YES from pop-up window to
activate ether valve.
10. Using the MSD (WP 0008), check
Diagnostic Code 2417-6 Ether
for active diagnostic codes
Control Solenoid Current Above
Normal Becomes Inactive - Select the
(Figure 12, Item 8).
Disable Override button (Figure 12,
Item 7) to de-activate ether valve.
Select the Disconnect icon (Figure 12,
Item 2).
Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
Install ether bottle, if removed
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
Troubleshooting complete.

Normal Remains Active - Select the
Disable Override button (Figure 12,
Item 7) to de-activate ether valve.
Select the Disconnect icon (Figure 12,
Item 2).
Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
Repeat troubleshooting from the
beginning.
