1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove instrument cluster for
access to wiring harness
connectors (WP 0252).
3. Disconnect connector C-C57
(WP 0012, Figure 61) from action
alarm.
4. Disconnect connector C-C56
(WP 0012, Figure 46) from
instrument cluster.
5. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 1 and terminal 2 of
connector C-C57 (WP 0012,
Figure 61).
6. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less -
(WP 0174), measure resistance
Replace action alarm (WP 0255).

Proceed to Test Step 3.
(WP 0012, Figure 46) terminal 23
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms -
and terminal 2.
Replace lower cab wiring harness
(WP 0291).
Proceed to Test Step 3.

diagnostic codes (WP 0008).
