Test Step 20. Test Location of Park
on the Rear Wiper.
1. Operate rear wiper in low then off
three times (TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Observe location of park for the
Rear Wiper Parks in the Same Place
rear wiper (TM 5-3805-298-10).
But Not in the Park Position
Proceed to step 3.
Rear Wiper Does Not Park in the
Same Place Proceed to Test Step 21.
3. Remove rear wiper arm
(WP 0359).
4. Locate rear wiper arm to correct
park position and install rear wiper
arm (WP 0359).
5. Operate rear wiper in low then off
three times (TM 5-3805-298-10).
6. Observe location of park for the
Rear Wiper Parks in the Park
rear wiper (TM 5-3805-298-10).
Position Proceed to Test Step 24.
Rear Wiper Does Not Park in the Park
Position Replace rear wiper motor
(WP 0359).
Proceed to Test Step 24.
Test Step 21. Test Park Switch in
Rear Wiper Motor.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Remove dash panel at rear wiper
switch (WP 0259).
3. Disconnect connector HN-C18
(WP 0012, Figure 193) from rear
wiper switch (WP 0012,
Figure 194).
