Relief Test.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Ensure all hydraulic hoses are
connected correctly.
3. Relieve hydraulic system pressure
(WP 0369).
4. Test pump cutoff pressure
Pump Cutoff Pressure Is Correct
Proceed to step 6.
Pump Cutoff Pressure Is Not
Correct Proceed to step 5.
5. Adjust pump cutoff pressure
Pump Cutoff Adjusts to Correct
Pressure Proceed to step 6.
Pump Cutoff Will Not Adjust
Replace implement pump (WP 0370).
Proceed to Test Step 7.
6. Test relief valve pressure for head
Relief Valve Pressure Is Correct
end tilt cylinder (WP 0166).
Proceed to Test Step 6.
Relief Valve Pressure Is Not Correct
Proceed to step 7.
7. Adjust relief valve pressure for

head end tilt cylinder
Pressure Proceed to Test Step 7.
Relief Valve Will Not Adjust
Replace combination tilt relief valve
(WP 0373).
Proceed to Test Step 7.
Test Step 6. Perform Tilt Cylinder
Rod End Relief Test.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Ensure all hydraulic hoses are
connected correctly (WP 0173).
3. Relieve hydraulic system pressure
(WP 0369).
4. Test relief valve pressure for rod
Relief Valve Pressure Is Correct
end tilt cylinder (WP 0166).
Replace main control valve (WP 0371).
Proceed to Test Step 7.
Relief Valve Pressure Is Not Correct
Proceed to step 5.
