Connect MSD, select Transmission
Proceed to Test Step 2.
924 and check for active diagnostic
codes (WP 0008).
Diagnostic Codes Are Active Refer
to (WP 0005) and repair active
diagnostic codes first.
Test Step 2. Inspect Parking Brake
Linkage.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Turn transmission control to
Neutral (N) position
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
3. Inspect for damaged or
Parking Brake Cable OK Proceed
disconnected parking brake cable
to Test Step 3.

Disconnected Repair or replace

Test Step 4. Verify Malfunction Is
Resolved.
1. Turn battery disconnect switch to
ON position and start engine
(TM 5-3805-298-10).
2. Raise the work tool above the
ground (TM 5-3805-298-10).
3. Apply parking brake and release
service brake (TM 5-3805-298-10).
