WARNING
Diesel fuel is combustible and an irritant. Skin and eye protection is required. Ensure work
area is well ventilated.
Keep away from open flame and other ignition sources. Failure to follow this warning may
cause injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Note tube routing to aid installation.
Tag and mark tube and fitting to aid installation.
Clean up any spillage of fuel immediately.
1. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 5) and bracket (Figure 1, Item 4) from fuel rail (Figure 1, Item 6). Position
bracket aside.
2. Loosen tube nut (Figure 1, Item 2) and remove tube (Figure 1, Item 1) from fitting (Figure 1, Item 8).
3. Remove fitting (Figure 1, Item 8) and O-ring (Figure 1, Item 7) from relief valve (Figure 1, Item 3). Discard fitting
and O-ring.
4. Remove relief valve (Figure 1, Item 3) from fuel rail (Figure 1, Item 6).
