RADIATOR OVERFLOW HOSE REMOVAL

WARNING
Engine coolant is very slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury to personnel.
Wear effective eye, hand, and skin protection when handling coolant.
NOTE
Note routing of hoses to aid installation.
Tag and mark hoses to aid installation.
Note location or tiedown strap and mount to aid installation.
Plug or cap hoses and open ports.
1. Loosen clamp (Figure 10, Item 2) and remove radiator overflow hose (Figure 10, Item 1) from coolant tank
(Figure 10, Item 12).
2. Remove clamp (Figure 10, Item 2) from radiator overflow hose (Figure 10, Item 1).
3. Loosen clamp (Figure 10, Item 3) and remove radiator overflow hose (Figure 10, Item 1) from tee fitting
(Figure 10, Item 13).
4. Remove clamp (Figure 10, Item 3) from radiator overflow hose (Figure 10, Item 1).
5. Loosen clamp (Figure 10, Item 4) and remove vent hose (Figure 10, Item 5) from tee fitting
(Figure 10, Item 13).
6. Remove clamp (Figure 10, Item 4) from vent hose (Figure 10, Item 5).
7. Loosen clamp (Figure 10, Item 11) and remove tee fitting (Figure 10, Item 13) from radiator overflow hose
(Figure 10, Item 10).
8. Remove clamp (Figure 10, Item 11) from radiator overflow hose (Figure 10, Item 10).
9. Remove tiedown strap (Figure 10, Item 8) from mount (Figure 10, Item 9) and radiator overflow hose
(Figure 10, Item 10). Discard tiedown strap.
10. Remove radiator overflow hose (Figure 10, Item 10) and grommet (Figure 10, Item 6) from panel
(Figure 10, Item 7).
