CAUTION
Ensure mating surfaces of water temperature regulator and engine are clean and free of
gasket material or debris. Failure to follow this caution may result in damage to
equipment.
NOTE
Install water temperature regulator and bolts as noted during removal.
3. Install new gasket (Figure 4, Item 6), water temperature regulator (Figure 4, Item 1) and two bolts (Figure 4,
Items 2 and 7) on engine (Figure 4, Item 5). Tighten bolts to 32.5 lb-ft (44 Nm).
4. Install clamp (Figure 4, Item 3) and hose (Figure 4, Item 4) on water temperature regulator (Figure 4, Item 1).
