Cluster Operation.
Verify the following lamps remain
Lamps Illuminate - Replace
illuminated with ignition switch in the on
instrument cluster (WP 0177).
position (TM 5-2420-231-10) and
Proceed to Test Step 2.
engine not running:
Lamps Do Not Illuminate - Diagnose
instrument cluster (WP 0018) and then
a. Low engine oil pressure
proceed to Test Step 2.

Test Step 2. Verify That Symptom Is
Resolved.
1. Start and operate engine (TM 5-
2420-231-10).
2. Observe voltmeter. Voltmeter
Voltmeter Indicates 12 to 14 Volts -
should indicate 12 to14 volts.
Troubleshooting complete.
Voltmeter Indicates Less Than 12
Volts - Repeat troubleshooting from the
beginning.
