5. Using a digital multimeter, test for
Continuity - Proceed to Test Step 19.

No Continuity - Proceed to step 6.

no continuity.
6. Turn ignition switch to the off posi-
tion (TM 5-2420-231-10) and dis-
connect batteries (WP 0157).
7. Install new rear work lights fuse
(TM 5-2420-231-10).
8. Connect side console wiring har-
ness connector (WP 0007, Figure
88) to rear work lights switch (WP
0007, Figure 89).
9. Connect rear work lights wiring
harness connector (WP 0007, Fig-
ure 83) terminals 1 and 2 to far-left
rear work lights (WP 0007, Figure
84) terminals 1 and 2.
10. Connect batteries (WP 0157) and
turn ignition switch to the on posi-
tion (TM 5-2420-231-10).
11. Turn rear work lights switch to the
Far-Left Rear Work Light On - Turn
on position (TM 5-2420-231-10).

Rear work light should be on.
(TM 5-2420-231-10).
Proceed to step 12.
Far-Left Rear Work Light Off -
Replace far-left rear work light (WP
0178).
Install new rear work lights fuse.
Proceed to Test Step 23.
12. Turn ignition switch to the off posi-
tion (TM 5-2420-231-10) and dis-
connect batteries (WP 0157).
13. Connect rear work lights wiring
harness connector (WP 0007, Fig-
ure 83) terminals 3 and 4 to cen-
ter-left rear work lights (WP 0007,
Figure 84) terminals 3 and 4.
