Test Step 2. Verify Operation of
Alarm.
Turn light control switch lever (Figure 2,
Alarm Off - Proceed to Test Step 3.
Item 4) to the SER. DRIVE position
Both Driving Lights Off and Alarm On
(Figure 2, Item 3) and listen for alarm
- Proceed to Test Step 9.

Test Step 3. Check for Faulty Light
Control Switch.
1. Turn ignition switch to the off posi-
tion (TM 5-2420-231-10) and dis-
connect batteries (WP 0157).
2. Disconnect front console wiring
harness connector (WP 0007, Fig-
ure 71) from light control switch
(WP 0007, Figure 72) (WP 0175).
