NOTE
Set heater grid and heater hose fitting aside for use in Preparation for Installation.
8. Remove four bolts (Figure 17, Item 1), ground eyelet (Figure 17, Item 10), intake pipe (Figure 17, Item 4), gas-
ket (Figure 17, Item 2), grid heater (Figure 17, Item 3), and gasket (Figure 17, Item 9) from intake manifold
cover (Figure 17, Item 8). Set grid heater aside. Discard gaskets.
9. Loosen clamp (Figure 17, Item 5) and disconnect intake pipe (Figure 17, Item 4) from hose (Figure 17, Item 6).
NOTE
Note position and orientation of heater hose fitting to aid in installation.
10. Remove heater hose fitting (Figure 17, Item 7) from engine.
