WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support during
procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load
capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Engine assembly weighs 1,084 lb (492 kg).
1. Attach chain sling and lifting device on engine and support weight of engine.
2. With lifting device, remove engine (Figure 22, Item 1) from suitable engine rollover stand (Figure 22, Item 3)
and place on suitable cribbing.
3. Remove engine mounting bracket (Figure 22, Item 2) from engine (Figure 22, Item 1).
4. With lifting device, install engine (Figure 22, Item 1) in machine.
