1. Position rubber boot (Figure 1, Item 5) aside.
NOTE
Tag and mark wires to aid in installation.
2. Remove nut (Figure 1, Item 6), lockwasher (Figure 1, Item 8), and disconnect four cables (Figure 1, Items 1, 2,
3, and 4) from starter power stud (Figure 1, Item 7). Discard lockwasher.
