1. Clean and inspect all parts IAW Mechanical General Maintenance Instructions (WP 0369).
2. Clean and inspect all parts IAW Electrical General Maintenance Instructions (WP 0370).

NOTE
The procedure for taillight assembly removal and replacement is identical for left-hand
and right-hand taillight assemblies. Left-hand taillight assembly is shown in this
procedure.
1. Install taillight assembly (Figure 1, Item 5), two washers (Figure 1, Item 3), and bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), on
mounting bracket (Figure 1, Item 8).
NOTE
Install wires as tagged and marked during removal.
2. Connect five taillight assembly wiring harness connectors (Figure 1, Item 9) to wiring harness connectors
(Figure 1, Item 10).
NOTE
Install tiedown straps in location and quantity noted during removal.
3. Install new tiedown straps (Figure 1, Item 1) on taillight assembly wiring harness (Figure 1, Item 10).
4. Install two brush guards (Figure 1, Item 4), four new lockwashers (Figure 1, Item 6), and nuts (Figure 1, Item 7)
on mounting bracket (Figure 1, Item 8).
