REMOVAL CONTINUED
4. Remove locknut (Figure 3, Item 3), washer (Figure 3, Item 5), bolt (Figure 3, Item 2), and washer (Figure 3,
Item 4) from right transmission mount bracket (Figure 3, Item 1). Discard locknut.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
The engine and transmission assembly weighs 1,856 lb (841 kg).
5. Using lifting device, raise the engine/transmission assembly off of transmission mounts (Figure 3, Item 6).
