WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support during
procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load
capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Battery box and hydraulic oil tank weigh 245 lb (111 kg).
1. Position lifting device under battery box and hydraulic oil tank and support weight of hydraulic oil tank.
2. Using lifting device and with assistance, position battery box and hydraulic oil tank on machine.
NOTE
Be sure to install hydraulic oil tank horizontally while connecting return hose.
3. Using lifting device and with assistance, connect return hose (Figure 15, Item 6) to hydraulic oil tank
(Figure 15, Item 5).
4. Install spacer (Figure 15, Item 10), hydraulic oil tank (Figure 15, Item 1), spacer (Figure 15, Item 9), washer
(Figure 15, Item 8), and bolt (Figure 15, Item 7) on machine.
5. Install spacer (Figure 15, Item 3), washer (Figure 15, Item 4), and bolt (Figure 15, Item 2) on battery box and
hydraulic oil tank (Figure 15, Item 1).
