1. Remove terminal lock (Figure 14, Item 1) from connector body (Figure 14, Item 2).
2. Slide shell (Figure 14, Item 7) backward on wiring harness (Figure 14, Item 8) to expose seal
(Figure 14, Item 6).
3. Slide seal (Figure 14, Item 6) backward and out of connector body (Figure 14, Item 3).
NOTE
One terminal shown. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for other terminals.
Tag and mark all terminals to aid in installation.
4. Remove terminal (Figure 14, Item 4) from connector body (Figure 14, Item 3).
5. Inspect terminal for corrosion, bent, or elongated opening. If condition is found, remove terminal (Figure 14,
Item 4) from wire (Figure 14, Item 5) by cutting through wire just behind terminal.
