WEATHERPROOF CONNECTOR REPAIR CONTINUED

1. Remove terminal lock (Figure 17, Item 1) from connector body (Figure 17, Item 7).
2. Slide shell (Figure 17, Item 5) backward on harness (Figure 17, Item 6) to expose seal (Figure 17, Item 4).
3. Slide seal (Figure 17, Item 4) backward and out of connector body (Figure 17, Item 7).
NOTE
One terminal shown. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for other terminals.
Tag and mark all terminals to aid in installation.
4. Remove terminal (Figure 17, Item 2) from connector body (Figure 17, Item 7).
5. Inspect terminal for corrosion, bent, or elongated opening. If condition is found, remove terminal (Figure 17,
Item 2) from wire (Figure 17, Item 3) by cutting through wire just behind terminal.
