Parking/Emergency Brake- Pull the knob up to apply thebrake.When the brake is applied, thetransmission is in NEUTRAL.Push the knob down to release the brake.Release the brake before moving themachine.Transmission Control Lock- Engaged (pushed in) - Thetransmission control is locked inNEUTRAL.Released (pulled out) -transmission control levermoved to the FORWARDREVERSE position.Thecan beorBrake Pedal - The left brakepedal disengages the transmission andbrakes the machine. This permits higherengine speed for better hydraulicresponse.Depress the left brake pedalwhen positioning and raising thebucket at the same time.Release the pedal to re-engagethe transmission and to releasethe brake.Brake Pedal - Depress theright brake pedal for normalmachine braking.Release the pedal to release thebrake.Accelerator - Depress toincrease the engine speed.Release to decrease the enginespeed.The accelerator pedal can beused to shut off the engine bypulling the pedal back past thedetent.29
