When Required
ENGINE AIR PRECLEANER
WARNING
If NBC exposure is suspected, all air filter media
should be handled by personnel wearing pro-
tective equipment. Consult you unit NBC Offi-
cer or NBC NCO for appropriate handling of dis-
posal instructions.
Remove and empty the cup. Wipe the
cup clean.
Inspect visually. The cup should be
emptied whenever dirt reaches the indicator
mark.
Install the cup and the cap. Tighten
the wing nut finger tight only. Do not use a
tool.
Loosen the wing nut on top of the
cap and remove the cap.
Periodically remove the precleaned cup
and the cap and wash them in water.
