In addition to these, the followingoperations can also be performed:BulldozingScrapingControlled DischargeClampingBulldozing2. Lower the bucket to the desired height. Use ashallow cut for hard loading material. Scrape inreverse and apply more down pressure to thebucket if a deeper cut is desired.Controlled Discharge1. Open bucket fully and adjust the blade face sothat it is perpendicular to the ground, While mov-ing forward, position the bucket to the desiredheight.2. If the blade digs in and the rear of the tractorrises, raise blade to continue even cut. When mov-ing a heavy load causes travel speed to drop, shiftto a lower gear and/or raise the blade up slightly.NOTEWhen doing finishing or leveling work, afull blade handles easier than a partiallyloaded blade.Scraping1. Raise the bucket about 2 feet off the groundand place the bucket in the full dump position.Open the bucket fully.1. If precise dumping is desired, raise bucket atthe desired height over the dumping area.2. Slowly open the bucket until the desired dis-charge rate is achieved. Gradually tilt the bucketforward until all material has been discharged.Shake the bucket to loosen sticky material.59
