INDIVIDUAL ClRCUIT DESCRIPTION
C. Engine Oil Pressure
The engine oil pressure circuit is activated by a normally open 9G8010
Pressure Switch that is installed in the engine block and makes a measure-
ment of engine oil pressure. The switch is closed if the oil pressure is above
approximately 110 kPa (16 psi). If the oil pressure falls below approxima-
tely 62 kPa (9 psi), the switch opens and the engine oil pressure indicator
on the operator panel turns ON. The operator panel also sends current to
turn ON the master fault light and, if the fuel pressure switch is open
(engine running), sends current to activate the fault alarm.
The engine oil pressure circuit connects to Pin 5 of the operator panel. Pin
11 of the operator panel goes to the master fault light and Pin 10 goes to
the fault alarm.
